Dee Edington Phd

Dr. Dee W. Edington, Ph.D. is a Professor Emeritus in the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan. He served as Founder and Director of the Health Management Research Center. In addition to his research and teaching, he spent 25 years in academic administration. He, with Jennifer Pitts, formed Edington Associates LLC and serves on several Advisory Boards for Wellness Companies.

He is the author or co-author of over 1,000 articles, presentations and several books, including Zero Trends: Health as a Serious Economic Strategy and co-authored, with Jennifer Pitts. Shared Values Shared Results: Positive Organizational Health as a Win-Win Philosophy.


Jennifer Pitts PhD

Jennifer is Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Edington Associates, LLC, and Founder of the Institute for Positive Organizational Health. She has more than 20 years of healthcare research and consulting experience in both academic and applied settings.

Before joining Edington Associates, Dr. Pitts spent 12 years with Pfizer Health Solutions Inc (PHS) as the Director of the Outcomes and Analytics unit. At PHS, she was involved with the design and evaluation of health improvement programs and community programs at the local, state, and federal levels across.


Dr. Joti Samra

Clinical Psychologist/ Innovator (Canada)

Dr. Samra is a national thought leader on issues relating to mental health. She is Program Lead for the online Centre for Psychological Health Sciences at the University of Fredericton. She is an innovator in the area of psychological health and safety in the workplace, and has been the lead on a number of pivotal national workplace projects that have contributed to policy change in Canada.

Dr. Samra has been involved as an expert advisor on a number of provincial and national steering committees in the area of workplace psychological health, including being a founding member of the Technical Committee that developed Canada’s National Standard for Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace (CSA Z1003/BNQ9700) – the first Standard of its kind in the world.

Dr. Michael Rucker

Digital Health Expert / Author (U.S.A)

Dr. Rucker is a charter member of the International Positive Psychology Association, a member of the American Psychological Association and is accredited by the American College of Sports Medicine.

In 2016, Dr. Rucker was recognised as one of the 50 most influential people in digital health by Onalytica. He is a peer-reviewed author and currently functions as Verywell.com’s health technology expert, as well as holds the position of Vice President of Technology for Active Wellness.


John Toumbourou PhD

Professor and Chair in Health Psychology (Australia)

Leader of Intervention Science at the Centre for Social and Early Emotional Development (SEED) at Deakin University and Chair in Health Psychology within the School of Psychology. His pro bono work advising WELLTEQ has been contributed as part of his leadership role in assisting the development of partnerships and research capacity within the School of Psychology and Faculty of Health at Deakin University.

Angela Montgomery PhD

Psychologist / Researcher (Australia)

Angela is a psychologist and researcher specialising in organisational and occupational mental health and wellbeing. Her work incorporates best practice and evidence based psychological principles in the development of interventions and strategy to improve the mental health of workers and organisations. Angie has been integral to the success of WellteQ’s first mental wellness program content that has already been delivered across the UK, US and wider Asia Pacific. She has also contributed to the content development for the second mental wellness program, unique in delivery by linking the content with the use of wearable technology and gamification..
